The control of raw materials can be called the cornerstone of quality control. Paper, as the "soul carrier" of notebooks, has very different requirements for notebooks of different uses. For the inner pages of notebooks used for daily writing, the paper must have a moderate weight of 70-80 grams, which can ensure the writing feel without being too thick. Its color should be soft and eye-protecting, avoiding dazzling bright white, and its toughness should be sufficient to prevent the paper from breaking when writing. At the same time, excellent writing smoothness and ink absorption are the key, which can effectively prevent ink penetration and smudge, and ensure clear handwriting. Printing ink should also not be underestimated. High-quality ink has high color saturation, and the printed patterns are colorful, long-lasting and non-fading, and can accurately restore the color details of the design draft to ensure the clarity of the printed patterns. The factory conducts rigorous laboratory testing on each batch of paper and ink, from component analysis to performance testing, to ensure that it fully meets the established standards.

Entering the production stage, accurate debugging of printing equipment is a prerequisite for high-quality printing. Although the current advanced printing machines have powerful functions and can achieve high-precision color reproduction and pattern registration, technicians need to perform meticulous calibration work before starting the machine. This includes precise adjustment of printing pressure. Too little pressure will lead to insufficient ink transfer and blurred patterns; too much pressure may damage the paper and affect the printing effect. Ink volume control is also extremely critical. The ink volume needs to be accurately adjusted according to the complexity of the printed pattern and the depth of the color to ensure bright and uniform colors. At the same time, calibrate the color management system parameters to make the actual printed color highly matched with the design color. During the printing process, through the advanced online monitoring system, the staff can monitor the color and registration of the printed product in real time. Once there is a deviation, the system will immediately alarm, and the technicians will quickly intervene to adjust and keep the defective rate to a minimum.

 

Quality inspection runs through the entire production process. From multiple rounds of strict proofreading of images and texts before printing to ensure that there are no errors or omissions in the text and no deformation of the images, to sampling inspections at regular intervals during the printing process to quantitatively test key indicators such as color density and dot reproduction, to a comprehensive and detailed appearance inspection of the notebooks at the finished product stage, including the flatness of the cover, the firmness of the binding, the neatness of the page cutting, etc. Only products that have passed layers of strict inspections are qualified to flow into the market and bring consumers a high-quality notebook experience.
